Producer / Co-Producer / Researcher

I didn’t just dip my toes in — I threw myself into everything. From the start, I was a one-man team, hungry to experience every single part of production. Shooting, editing, directing, producing, sound, logistics, if it needed doing, I did it. I was insanely curious, and that curiosity gave me a deep understanding of how all the moving parts come together to make a project actually work.

That curiosity also pushed me out into the field, and I ended up spending over a decade working across remote and regional Australia. A lot of that time was with Indigenous communities, from the very top of the country to the deep south. Those jobs weren’t just about getting the shot — they were about building trust, listening, and adapting to situations where the environment, the people, and the stories demanded respect. It wasn’t glamorous or perfectly planned; it was about finding a way, learning quickly, and getting the work done.

Those years shaped me into someone other filmmakers would turn to when they needed advice on protocols, cultural access, or how to approach sensitive environments. I became a bit of a go-to for projects that required patience, honesty, and the ability to connect quickly with people in places most crews never reach.

At the same time, I built and ran my own production companies, everything from wedding cinematography at scale to branded content and documentary work. That taught me how to handle clients, manage crews, and keep the quality high even when budgets were tight and schedules were demanding. I learned how to organise big, messy productions, break them into manageable steps, and make sure the whole team crossed the finish line together.

Now I’m shifting my focus outward. I want to take everything I’ve learned, the hands-on production experience, the adaptability, the problem-solving and bring it into collaborations abroad. I don’t need to be the one behind the camera anymore; what I really enjoy now is being in the thick of production, assisting lead producers and directors, smoothing the path, and helping ambitious projects become more efficient, more adaptive, and more enjoyable for everyone involved.

That’s who I am behind the CV. Not just credits and skills, but someone who’s lived the highs and lows of production, learned by doing, and come out with a clear sense of how to support people and projects in a way that makes a real difference.

“I’m eager to connect and collaborate on projects that have weight — helping shape narratives with emotional depth, real impact, and a strong sense of purpose.”
