4. 2020 – Documentary Work / Screenwest Grant

Secured funding & Private Investment to develop and pitch Fat of the Land, a documentary series.

  • Worked under multiple producers, redeveloping the project in different creative and structural directions.

  • Built experience navigating broadcaster requirements, market positioning, and evolving creative briefs.

  • Gained deep understanding of funding body expectations and project repositioning.

  • Rewrote the Indigenous Protocol Strategy for Screenwest, which is still used nationally across Australia today.

  • Held multiple development meetings with Disney, Prime, Netflix, and SBS before political shifts in the sector placed the project on hold.
